There’s something incredibly special about photographing a family through multiple seasons of life.
I’ve had the honor of documenting this sweet family for years, so this session felt especially meaningful. This time, they gathered together for a Mother’s Day extended family session at Camel’s Back Park in Boise, celebrating motherhood, family connection, and the people who matter most.
The Boise foothills were glowing with soft spring light as we wandered the trails together, capturing a mix of joyful candids, quiet moments, and the genuine connection between generations. One of my favorite parts of extended family sessions is documenting the little in-between moments that often become the most treasured memories later on.
From grandparents loving on their grandkids to siblings laughing together, every part of this session felt warm, relaxed, and full of love.
These are the kinds of sessions that remind me why family photography matters so much. Photos like these become part of a family’s story for years to come.
