There is something so special about photographing a family while they wait for their newest little one to arrive. This Boise maternity session was filled with soft summer light, sweet family moments, and so much excitement for the baby they will soon be meeting.
We spent the evening capturing a mix of family portraits, maternity photos of mom, sweet moments with big sister, and a few photos of mom and dad together. I love maternity sessions that feel relaxed and give families a chance to simply enjoy this season together.
This family is also taking advantage of my Bump to Baby promotion, which means I will have the opportunity to photograph another special part of their story very soon. After baby arrives, I will be joining them for a Fresh 48 session to document those first tiny details and early moments together.
One of my favorite parts of maternity and newborn photography is being able to document a family's story as it grows. From the anticipation before baby arrives to those first newborn moments, each session captures a different piece of such a fleeting season.
