A Sweet Studio Newborn Session in Nampa, Idaho

There is something so special about slowing down and documenting all of the tiny details of a brand new baby. This sweet little girl recently visited my Nampa studio for her newborn session, and I loved creating a gallery that felt soft, simple, and timeless.

We started with soft pink and cream tones, keeping the focus completely on baby. From cozy wrapped portraits to sweet sleepy poses and all of those tiny details, these are the kinds of images that preserve just how little they were during those first few weeks.

One of my favorite things about a full studio newborn session is having the time to create a little more variety. We transitioned into a deeper purple setup with a rustic basket, which added a completely different feel while still fitting beautifully with the rest of her gallery.

And of course, some of my favorite images from this session were the ones with Dad. There is something about seeing just how tiny a newborn looks in a parent's arms that puts this stage into perspective. Those snuggles, kisses, tiny fingers wrapped around his hand, and even those little toes are details that change so quickly.
