There’s something so special about getting to photograph a brand new baby during those first few weeks. This sweet baby girl recently came to my Nampa newborn studio, and I absolutely loved creating this gallery for her family.


For her session, we incorporated soft pinks and the sweetest little rainbow setup before moving into beautiful purples and warm, earthy tones. One of my favorite parts was capturing all of the little details in between, from her tiny toes and sleepy expressions to a few adorable newborn smiles.


Her rainbow setup ended up creating some of my favorite images from the entire session. I love how much personality can come through even in these quiet, sleepy newborn portraits.


Newborns change so incredibly quickly, which is why I love being able to preserve not only the classic posed portraits, but also the tiny details that families will want to remember years from now.
